Ergonomics
Ergonomics question the current characteristics of the urban body to propose solutions for the future body. What are the adaptations and uses of the body in the future smartcity? The team of Ergonomics imagines a choreographic fiction, in the context of an innovation company, questioning the new strategies of the marketing, replaying the discourse of start-up … a particular show of dance-theater. Ergonomics propose a shifted and critical exploration of the contemporary themes of the future body, the urban body, the Smart City and the clichés of the innovation at the time of the all-digital.

La conférence est animée par deux hôtesses (les fondatrices du projet) et accompagnées d’un danseur de talent, Patric Sean Gee-Hou Kuo. Ensemble, ils incarnent leur conception du smart body : rigidité des gestes, sourire en coin, poses artificielles, etc.

Ergonomics est bien sûr un "fake", difficile à percer quand on ne voit que le site qui reprend les codes de l'entreprise innovante et ne dévoile ni le propos artistique ni l'équipe. Un dispositif qui rappelle les Yes Men et leurs jeux d'identité pour intégrer des milieux qu'ils critiquent.

Rocio Berenguer’s Ergonomics, a so-called “participative danse conference,” is like a corporate instructional video brought to life through tightly choreographed live performance. The host, along with a man and a woman dressed in analogous black and white outfits, describes their mission to adapt the human body to our modern era through a series of services, products and “Smart Training Protocols.” In this regard, self-improvement means catching up with the evolution of a technological landscape that has already outpaced us.
